ED big tower

ED structures are usually equipped with active defense systems consisting of several guns mounted directly on to structures. This has one major advantage - it's incredibly difficult to destroy a highly fortified structure which is firing constantly. A typical ED defense structure will have high towers and low, complex bunkers. ED fortifications are usually protected by two defense lines.

The first line has bunkers (pill-boxes) designed to resist enemy attacks for long periods and to ensure the security of the second line. The second line has high, lightly-armored towers capable of firing over the pill-boxes. The small towers, located all over the base and having a firing range covering that entire area, are responsible for anti-aircraft defense.
